World Class Bowhunting.

All bowhunting safaris are not created equal. Some areas are better than others. We feel that this unique operation and it’s commitment to providing a world class bowhunting experience set’s it apart from many other operations throughout Africa

The Safari Company.

This Safari Company is one of the original hunting safari companies in Zimbabwe, Southern Africa. They have been in operation since 1969 and have a rich hunting heritage. In fact it is owned by a founding member of the hunting industry in Zimbabwe. They have been providing excellence in bowhunting safaris for more than two decades. In short…they know bowhunting!

The Land.

This block of ground totals 32,000 acres of bowhunting heaven! They offer a top shelf bowhunting experience utilizing 12 different watering points as well as incredible ground to spot and stalk with your bowhunting PH. Their bowhunting blinds will be either ground or pit blinds as well as tree blinds. All of which can accommodate 3 - 4 people. Expect shots of 25 yards and under for your trophies from the blinds but longer on a stalk. You will be bowhunting Wild Africa!

The Game.

With 20+ species for you to pursue with stick and string, we have no doubt that you will have multiple opportunities at trophies such as Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Zebra, Eland, Kudu and Impala just to name a few. Also know that this operation has the finest Sable and Tsessebe herds in all of Zimbabwe along with HUGE male Leopards. Plenty of trophies if you are up to the task my friends.

The Lodge.

This is a classic tented safari camp which is built into a rocky hillside. You will be blown away at how beautiful the accommodations and grounds are. Much thought has gone into combining the feel of a classic safari paired with the comforts of home including private bathrooms, thatched sleeping quarters and a gorgeous swimming pool. No doubt you will enjoy the amazing view from the lodges deck and the stories shared of the days adventure in the great room - dining room. You will also be treated to excellent cuisine and beverages. You will not want to leave but when you do it will be as family.

The Hunt.

No matter what your safari experience level you will be accompanied by a highly qualified BOWHUNTING PH who is fully licensed. They know the game and they know the land. Bowhunters typically spend the early morning and late evening stalking for specific animals that are on your plains game hit list. Then during the heat of the day when the game come to drink it will be time to enter the blinds and stake out your waterhole. You will enjoy a full picnic lunch in the blind and have plenty of drinks as well.

Bowhunters after a Leopard will be hunting from a brush blind or pop up very close to the bait so be prepared to be ultra quiet and ready to shoot standing up. You’ll spend the early morning hours checking baits and preparing for next steps. Then it’s off to a waterhole for plains game. Ultimately back to the Leopard blind to wait out your BIG CAT that night.

You can hunt with a compound, recurve or longbow in Zimbabwe and this excellent safari company has experience with all three. A minimum draw weight of 50lbs is required for Plains Game but at least 60lbs is highly recommended. Preference is 3 or 4 blade broadheads that are fixed with an arrow weight between 400 - 500 grains for a finished arrow.
