Western Colorado Trophy Archery Mule Deer Hunts with our outfitter are conducted in this game rich region of the state and consistently produces high quality Mule Deer Bucks! Colorado is famous for it’s fantastic Mule Deer hunting and our outfit is smack dab in some of the absolute best units in the entire state. This particular outfitter has a passion for BIG MULE DEER and begins scouting for them July 1st and goes at it non stop. They put A LOT of time into patterning these bucks and knowing there whereabouts come bow season. It’s pretty common for our outfitter to have clients on bucks right away when their bowhunt begins. This is the benefit of bowhunting with an outfitter who has in depth knowledge of what it takes to guide archery hunters and provide stalks on BIG MATURE MULIES! The results speak for them self.

Many outfitters will take a bowhunter but few are really adept and talented at guiding bowhunters. THIS IS THE DIFFERENCE! You and your guide will use 4x4 vehicles and ATV's to access different places on the ranches and then hike on foot from there. Be prepared to do a lot of glassing during these Mule Deer hunts. Mule Deer will range from 160-200 B&C or larger. They lease many different properties in GMU's 52, 53, 62, 63, 65 & 521 and are permitted for all BLM land in these units as well. They operate on approximately 40,000 MANGED AND EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE ACRES OF RANCH LAND along with a ton of BLM if needed. Hunt’s are primarily spot & stalk however there may be limited situations that call for a tree stand or ground blind to be used on the edge of agriculture or water. Mule Deer with stick and string is a difficult undertaking so you will need plenty of patience and willing to wait these big guy’s out. Shots will likely be 40 - 60 yards so spend time shooting those distances and know exactly how your arrow will fly.

Shot opportunity on these TROPHY MULE DEER BOWHUNTS runs very high (approximately 90%) but don’t take our word for it…talk to the references who have experienced it. They strictly limit the guided archery hunts to 4 lucky bowhunters a year. This is one of the many reasons why they are so successful (along with intense scouting, dedicated management and a deep knowledge of the Deer in these areas). Lodging will be in either a cabin or ranch house depending on the unit and area you decide on. The draw typically can take between 2 - 4 points but don’t fret as they have access to land owner tags in each of these units. Land owner tags can range in price from $500.00 - $2,000 so please contact us for specifics. Hunts are typically guided 2 on 1 but 1 on 1 is available for an additional hunt cost of $1,000. Hunt’s are for 5 full days and we fully expect our clients to stalk deer in the 170” - 190” range with potential for a GIANT MULE DEER!

This outfit has proven over and over that they know how to bowhunt Mule Deer. As we have discussed pursuing Mulie’s with archery equipment is a truly difficult task. It takes everything to go your way along with a touch of luck to get within reasonable bow range of a critter that can see, smell and hear far better than we can and also has a sixth sense that the truly old bucks just seem to know when things are off. Getting within bow range of one of these magnificent bucks is cause for celebration in its own right. Hunting with an operation that gets their clients in bow range of these WILD TROPHY MULE DEER EVERY YEAR is very hard to find. Fortunately this outfit does and has a very long track record to back it up.

We want to invite you to hunt with us and see for yourself how good this bowhunt is. Bowhunting for a true trophy Mule Deer is a passion of our own and we take it very seriously. Which is why we have sought the best in the business. Spots are very limited and usually book up well in advance of the season. Contact us to begin the process of getting you out to beautiful North West Colorado to stalk the WORLD CLASS MULE DEER that call these ranches home on this exciting Bow and Arrow Adventure.
