Western Colorado Trophy Cougar Bowhunts! Trophy Toms! Our outfitter has been running hounds for BIG TOM COUGARS for many years and has a truly exceptional record of success for his clients. In the last 8 years this specific outfitter has only had 3 clients not get their trophy. YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY! That is a truly exceptional track record of success considering the numerous clients taken over that period of time. Needless to say we have plenty of references for you to visit with.

Another big plus to bowhunting with us is that roughly 90% of our outfitters clients have been bowhunters for these BIG TOMS! So our guy and his team have the bowhunting knowledge to get it done and do just that for their clients each and every year. Our outfitter and his guides also have excellent stock when it comes to their hounds. Regardless of if it’s wet or dry these hounds tree Cats! This is a very important factor and one of the key things we focus on when searching out a TROPHY COUGAR BOWHUNTING OPERATION. Nobody can control mother nature but the BEST outfits are prepared to deal with whatever situation she throws at them in any given week. This always pays huge dividends in the results as conditions for the best Cat hunting are not always in place.

Another huge plus to bowhunting with us is the genetics in our outfitters area are EXCELLENT! Typically by the time a Tom Cat makes it to 4 years of age he already has a 13” or better skull. So lot’s of potential for a P&Y Tom with serious potential for a B&C class skull. Part of this can be attributed to the abundant prey of Deer and Elk that these cats survive on as well as a very healthy population of Cougar.

All of these things combined add up to one of the absolute very best TROPHY TOM MT. LION HUNTS IN THE WEST!

Hunts will be conducted out of the outfitters home and are for 5 full days. All meals and lodging are included during your bowhunt. You will be hunting where the tracks and Cats are that given week so be prepared to travel by horses, mules, side by sides, snowmobiles and trucks. Whatever it takes to get wherever the Cats take you is what you need to be prepared for. Cat hunts can sometimes be super quick and almost easy but often they can be one of the most difficult and physically demanding bowhunts any hunter could ever take on due to the terrain and pace of the hunt. It will be a huge advantage to be in the best physical and mental shape possible to make it to the tree with your TROPHY TOM in it. The days are long so be prepared to work hard and put in the time.

Lastly to Mountain Lion hunt in Colorado, hunters need to take a quick Lion Identity Test. It’s super easy and only 20 common sense questions that can be done online before your trip. No worries as the outfitter and the team here can walk you through it. Hunts take place on private land, BLM and National Forest permitted areas. Wherever the Cats are is where you will be. Elevation can be from 6,000 ft - 12,000 ft. Again it’s wherever the Cat’s take you.

Bowhunting for Trophy Tom’s is not for the faint of heart. It is also arguably the most heart pounding and exciting Bow and Arrow Adventure that you could ever take and without question one of the most beautiful trophy’s in all the world. We look forward to visiting with you about this incredible opportunity to Bowhunt for Trophy Toms on this one of a kind Colorado Bow and Arrow Adventure. We’ll meet you at the tree my friend!
