Most years shot opportunity is over 90%…yes you heard that correctly 90% SHOT OPPORTUNITY on Mule Deer in the 150” - 170”+ class with some bigger deer been seen and stalked most years. The good ol days of Mule Deer hunting are alive and well with this top notch outfit. You will be hunting on over 150,000 managed private acres for mature Mulies in the cowboy state. This outfit focuses on the harvest of mature Mule Deer and if a hunter is patient and willing to put forth the effort you will definitely get your opportunities to stalk these impressive bucks. They have been focused on quality deer management for years, and has consistently improved the age and trophy quality of harvested game. Although closely managed, the game is all free ranging. The principles and guides of this operation are enthusiastic, putting in long hours hunting, scouting, researching, and learning about the game pursued - not because they have to, but because they want to. There enthusiasm, philosophy, and management program ensure a high harvest rate of mature game year in and year out.

There are lots of deer on the leases and trophy quality is outstanding. Harvest success rates are very high, and opportunity for success on mature bucks has always been better than 90%. They target Mule Deer at 6 - 8 years of age. Harvested Mulies generally average in the 150’s to 170’s with 24” - 28” spreads average. The areas hunted produce deep forks and decent mass. Most mature bucks have an extra point or two. Bucks over 200 inches have been taken in the past with 180’s taken most years. We are confident that on a standard hunt, every client should see Mule Deer bucks in the 150” - 180” class range. There are high mule deer densities in this part of Wyoming, and clients usually see a hundred or more deer each day, with 10 - 40 bucks per day being common.

This hunt is all inclusive minus the tag and license. Just fly into Sheridan, Wyoming where the outfitter will pick you up. All transportation while on your hunt, meals, lodging and 2 on 1 guide service is included in the price. 1 on 1 can be arranged for an additional fee. You can also combine this hunt with a buck Antelope which you will see all over the place. Many of our clients op for the combination hunt and have left with both species and a large taxidermy bill.
