Alberta Trophy Whitetail Bowhunts! Our outfitter offers some of the very best TROPHY WHITETAIL BOWHUNTING in ALL of Alberta. Central Alberta is defined by the Parkland biome, home to some of the BIGGEST WHITETAILS in North America – including the famous McGarvey Buck and Zaft Buck. Farmland with patches or mixed deciduous and coniferous forest areas, provides prime cover and nutrient-rich cereal crop feeding areas for abundant Whitetail Deer populations. With minimal hunting pressure, many trophy-class bucks simply die of old age. Over the years, deadheads have been picked up in close proximity to this outfitter’s stands, two of which scored 207 and 215 inches.

Owned and operated by this husband and wife bowhunting team, which both are hardcore, driven and accomplished bowhunters themselves. In fact, Kevin is a long-time bow hunting writer and columnist for Outdoor Canada magazine.

Carefully managing their Deer herds on well over 3,000 acres of private land, they pride themselves in consistently providing their guests with 5 to 25-yard shot opportunities. With a September 1 season opener, this outfitter focuses on morning and evening field edges and staging areas/travel routes between bedding and feeding areas during early season hunts. Late pre-rut (last week in October) and peak rut hunts (mid-November), they set up along scrape lines in key movement corridors.

Hunters have the option to book either a 6-day or 10-day hunt. Most locations favor the use of lock-on tree stands, although some ladder stand options are available. Portable ground blinds set-ups are used periodically as well. Bow hunters willing to put in their time on stand or in the blind are usually rewarded with shot opportunities on 140 to 180-class bucks.

This Outfitter conveniently operates minutes from central Alberta’s Edmonton International Airport (YEG), so no long drives are required after your flight. Guests stay at the outfitters acreage residence located 25 minutes from the airport. Lodging has full amenities which include separate guest washroom, bedrooms, lounge, fireplace, dining area and trophy room. All meals are provided along with transport to and from the airport. All hunts are fully-guided, 2 guests per 1 guide unless otherwise arranged.
