Their exclusive guiding area for Saskatchewan trophy Black Bear hunting encompasses 140 square miles of the very best black bear habitat in northern Saskatchewan, a mix of boreal forest, swamps and river bottoms provide the perfect sanctuary for these bears to get really old and really big.

This area averages about 30% color phase Bears and a very high hunt success rate. Their guides have many years of bear guiding experience. We encourage our hunters to harvest older mature boars to keep the trophy quality high. Virtually all bear hunts in Saskatchewan are baited hunts. Baiting begins as early in the spring as the law and weather allow. The outfitter has a large number of trail cams out for management use. They use ladder stands and have also built special ground blinds from expanded metal that’s referred to as ‘The Cage’ that can offer a greater sense of safety for inexperienced hunters. This outfitters huge area has an excellent population of BIG OLD BRUINS and he and his staff know how to bring them into your lap. This outfitters unique area borders a very large preserve where hunting is strictly prohibited. This puts our clients in a unique situation as they get to hunt these old bruins as they are pulled out of the preserve to follow their noses to a delicious meal.

Hunts start around 2:00 p.m. and run until the end of legal shooting time. They supply all hunters with a two-way radio so they can be in contact with the guides. You can relax in the mornings or you can arrange boat rentals and guided fishing trips for Northern Pike and Walleye on a pay-per-day basis just down the way from the lodge.
