Alberta trophy Whitetail bowhunting with our outfitter in Northern Alberta has proven to be nothing short of incredible. If you spend a week with us in this beautiful province, chances are you will lay your eyes on one of the largest Whitetail bucks you have ever seen. If you are up for the challenge of  bowhunting in Alberta than this outfit is the place to go. This part of Alberta has an excellent Whitetail population and MATURE TROPHY BUCKS are the norm and not the exception to the rule. Whitetail deer hunting in Alberta is a real challenge! Generally it takes a Hunter to be patient. Whitetails have adapted to the varied terrain in Alberta. In the Parkland zone whitetails live in the Aspen forest where they can find many places to go unnoticed. In the Boreal forest and Foothills zones deer have the safety of spruce and aspen forests. Trophy whitetails are found regularly in all of these zones.

This outfitter is a very accomplished bowhunter in his own right and is well equipped to assist you in attempting to take one of the largest Whitetails of your bowhunting career. He has been outfitting in this part of Alberta, Canada since 2001. He has built his operation around bowhunters for all species that he offers and TROPHY WHITETAIL with stick and string is one of his favorite hunts to guide for. Trophy potential in this area is as good as you will find anywhere in Alberta with a bucks routinely taken over 160″ and better. Keep in mind these stats are with his BOWHUNTERS. In 2012 he took 8 bowhunters and they were 100% successful on 135+ bucks. The biggest one being 186″ P&Y. In 2013 and 2014 he maintained 100% shot opportunity on 140″ or better Whitetails. We will put this kind of track record up against any other outfitter in Alberta. His hard work and dedication to his bowhunting clients and his trophy Whitetails speaks for it self with numerous successful clients over the years. To our knowledge the largest FAIR CHASE ARCHERY WHITETAIL ever killed in Canada came from this camp in 2013, scoring a whopping 263 1/2″ GROSS and 249 2/8″ NET.

Our outfitter is a fairly small operation and only takes a maximum of 12 bowhunters per year. He chooses to run his bowhunts the first 3 weeks of September when bucks are still on predictable feeding patterns as the trail camera pictures will verify. He also hunts his bowhunters the last 10 days of October during the pre-rut when bucks are just starting to lay down scrapes and move longer during daylight hours. Our outfitter has the only food sources for over 6 miles and consists of about 6,000 acres. Most of this is alfalfa and about 90 acres of canola and oats mixed in strategic locations. This is also a BOW ONLY AREA so these bucks have hardly any pressure and are given every possible advantage to get to maturity. Hopefully now you are starting to get an idea of just how unique this place is for the serious trophy Whitetail bowhunter.

Hunts are based out of our outfitters 2,400 square ft. lodge with all the home cooked meals you can handle. You will live comfortably while you put in your time on stand for one of these big bucks. All bowhunts are 10 days long giving the client every possible opportunity to encounter the buck they have been waiting for. All hunting will be done from ground blinds or tree stands in strategic, scouted locations.

If the chance to bowhunt for a true Canadian trophy Whitetail is on your list then this bowhunt deserves top billing for Alberta.
