Starting in 2012, all of Utah Mule Deer hunting units will be on a unit quota system and must be drawn for in the general season hunts ( please see * area below ). While there are some great public land Mule Deer bow hunting opportunities in Utah for big P&Y Mule Deer, we can also secure a private land owner Mule Deer tag or a CWMU Mule Deer tag to bow hunt private ground for a 90 day Utah Mule Deer archery season.

Also if you choose you can combo this bow hunt  with a Bull and Cow elk at a very reasonable cost.

Unit : Blue Mountains / Abajo - public and private lands.

Mule Deer Tags : These are draw tags, apply by February 28 ^th annually. ( 80% draw success ).

Type : 1 Buck Mule Deer.

Season Dates : August - September  -  5 day bow hunts.

Hunting Methods : Archery Hunting, Spot and Stalk, Ground blinds and Tree Stands.

Provided : Lodging, Meals, Professional Bow Hunting Guide, Meat and Trophy Preparation.

Hunt Cost $ 2,800 for 1 on 1 /   $ 1,800 for 2 on 1. Upgraded to private land Bow Hunting for an additional  $ 1,000 per hunter.

*Private Land Utah Mule Deer Bow Hunts

Unit : Bankhead Ranch ( ALL PRIVATE LAND )

Mule Deer Tags : These are CWMU / landowner tags for deer. Utah Non Resident Hunting License $ 65 - Archery Mule Deer tag $ 263 - Archery Elk tag $ 338 ( over the counter ) - Cow Elk tag $ 213 ( landowner voucher ).

Type : 1 Buck Mule Deer

Season Dates : 3 different hunts per year ( BOW HUNTING ONLY ) - Starting the 3 ^rd Saturday week in August. One prime rut hunt available for no more than 2 bow hunters the week of November 5 ^th - 10 ^th .

Hunting Methods : Archery Hunting, Spot and Stalk, Ground blinds and Tree Stands.

Provided : Lodging, Meals, Professional Bow Hunting Guide and Meat and Trophy Preparation.

Hunt Cost : $ 4,500 for 1 on 1  /  $ 3,500 for 2 on 1.

Unit : Quigley Ranch ( ALL PRIVATE LAND )

Type : 1 Buck Mule Deer.

Mule Deer Tags : Purchase landowner or conservation voucher for $ 10,000 - $ 13,000 plus Utah Non Resident Hunting License $ 65 - Archery Elk Tag $ 263

Type : Trophy Mule Deer ( 200 " + P&Y potential , you will see this caliber of bucks while hunting ).

Season Dates : Starts the 3 ^rd week in August.

Hunting Methods : Archery Hunting, Spot and Stalk, Tree Stands.

Provided : Lodging, Meals, Professional Bow Hunting Guide, Meat and Trophy Preparation.

Hunt Cost : $ 5,500 ( cost includes full time scouter and guide per 1 bow hunter ).
