Alberta Trophy Black Bear Bowhunts

Bowhunting for Alberta’s giant Black Bears is nothing new to our outfitter. In fact he has been and is still at the top of the list for BOWHUNTING MATURE BLACK BEARS in the entire province of Alberta. There are literally dozens of baited Black Bear outfitters to choose from but there is one accolade that only ours can claim. Our outfitter has harvested the largest Black Bear killed by a non-resident and taken first place in the awards through APOS FOR 5 OF THE LAST 10 YEARS !!!!!! This is not by accident. This is because he has a beyond proven track record on GIANT BEARS and hunts his clients in truly exceptional units such as 351, 360 and 521. This is over 5,000 square miles of Black Bear heaven and he has the exclusive outfitting rights to these areas. Hunts are usually conducted over bait but our guy is also very comfortable with a spot and stalk client. Our clients can expect active baits with the potential for a serious B&C bear to show up over the course of your time in the stand.

The Black Bears in this area have been proven to be some of the oldest and largest in all of Alberta. The largest Black Bear ever recorded in Alberta came from this hunting area just a short time ago. If that wasn’t enough to seriously consider this Black Bear bowhunt then how about this. This area also has one of the highest percentages of color phase bears in Alberta as well. Ranging from dark chocolate, cinnamon and of course some big blond bears mixed in. This bowhunt takes place in a two bear limit area, so the opportunity to leave with two great bears is very realistic. This has allowed them to maintain a harvest percentage of about 175 % on average.

Our clients can choose to hunt either the Spring or the Fall ” Fall hunts may be combined with Moose and or Elk so please inquire “.

With between 50 to 60 maintained bait sites and only a max of 10 – 12 hunters in camp you can rest assured that you will be on an active bait. Another impressive fact about this area is that it borders a large non baiting area that receives little to no pressure . So these BIG MATURE BOARS venture over after sows in the spring who are also looking for the tasty treats strategically placed by our outfitter. All of these things add up to the potential for a lifetime bear hunt with the odds of tagging not 1 but 2 big bears being very good. Take a look at just a few of the happy hunters below and see for yourself what is waiting for you in Alberta.

With all of the options available to go and kill a bear in the great province of Alberta, we are firmly convinced that this is THE PLACE for your best chance at a true MONSTER BLACK BEAR in Alberta. If you are interested in pursuing these magnificent bears then please contact us to discuss the potential for your next Bow and Arrow Adventure.

Best regards, Scott Alberda
