Montana Trophy Elk Bowhunts

Montana archery Elk hunting with our outfitter on his private ranch near White Sulphur Springs can only be described one way “AWESOME”. We are over the moon excited about this young and very ambitious outfitter. We had the privilege of providing him 4 archery Elk hunters in 2014. We new this was going to be a great hunt because of the intel we had gotten and also the recommendations that came our way encouraging us to work with this outfitter. As with all of our outfitters this man is himself an accomplished bowhunter and so is his staff of guides. That in itself is very beneficial to any successful bowhunting program. Now take into account the exceptional piece of ground he has leased and we once again have the recipe for our clients to have an exceptional bowhunting experience.

Our outfitter in this part of Montana has leased 12,000 acres of archery Elk hunting heaven. This ranch is part of a trophy rich 100,000 private acres in the heart of some of Montana’s best Elk hunting. If that’s not enough to get you to pay attention then the fact that this ranch was kept aside strictly for the landowner and his closest friends archery Elk hunting should get you interested. Privileged acreage guarantees you an exclusive one of a kind bowhunting adventure. Our outfitter has guided and outfitted in this area for the last 4 consecutive years. Our guy has extensive experience and knowledge of hunting Elk, Deer and other big game animals. As an outdoor and bowhunting enthusiast he has the inside edge on how to bowhunt this ground for our clients. Our outfitters father is also a very intricate part of the team and brings over 30 years of Montana Game Warden knowledge and experience to this outfit making him another very valuable piece to this puzzle. Through this mans time in the field a large part of it has been spent in this exact same area. This unique duo ensures us that any client going on this hunt is put in very capable and knowledgeable hands indeed.

This ranch offers our clients the opportunity to bowhunt 250+ resident head of Elk that call this ranch home during the rut. At any given time on the ranch this time of year there is on average 50 Bulls in the action. There are several 300″+ within this herd. During this 2014 our 4 bowhunters experienced a truly amazing Elk hunt. All 4 of our bowhunters had a 100% shot opportunity on branched antlered Bulls. If you have been in an Elk camp before then you know this is far above the norm for many outfitters. Add to that the fact that all 4 of our bowhunters were successful ” as in trophy going home and meat in the freezer ” and you see why we are so excited about this amazing opportunity. If that still doesn’t convince you to book this hunt keep this in mind. 3 of our 4 bowhunters scored on their Bulls in the first 24 hours of their 5 day bowhunt. This is a target rich environment folks. Out of the 4 Bulls taken there was a 4 x 5, two 6 x 7’s and a beautiful 7 x 8. The biggest set of antlers of 2014’s clients that bowhunted here grossed 325″ P&Y with the next biggest grossing 300″ P&Y. I must tell you that I have been in this business for a long time now and that kind of track record just doesn’t happen very often. You must be in the right place with the right people to pull that off. All of our 2014 bowhunters had encounters and saw 340″+ bulls with 1 client seeing a massive 360″ Bull. We have no doubt that this ranch will once again produce excellent opportunities at P&Y class bulls this coming season.

Montana archery Elk hunting with us here is also very flexible and achievable for all ages and abilities. Bowhunting will consist of  utilizing ground blinds, tree stands, calling and spot & stalk. The ranch lends itself very well to bowhunting and is not rough country at all. Accommodations are nestled in a portion of the Little Belt Mountains near the Smith River. Camp consists of a 100 year old historic log cabin that has been newly refurbished with modern conveniences including hot showers, home cooked meals and a warm friendly atmosphere. Along with that you will also utilize Authentic Western canvas wall tents which include warm wood stoves and comfortable twin beds that provide the perfect place for rest and relaxation. That is unless the bugling Bulls right outside the camp don’t keep you awake all night. Lastly if you love to fly fish then you should make note that one of Montana’s best wild Trout streams flows right through the ranch and by camp. So if you need to take a break and fly fish for trophy Trout mid day we completely understand.

Please take a moment to look over the above trophy pics and trail cam pics. We our 1,000% confident that if you are in the market for a quality Montana archery Elk hunt then this trip deserves top billing. Spots are very limited due to this outfitters track record and repeat business so we encourage you to contact us right away to go over any questions that you may have. Of course references will be provided for serious inquiries. We hope that you will contact us regarding this special place to take in an archery Elk hunt in big sky country.
